This paper proposes a stiffness sensitivity analysis with principal strain application to decrease the out-of-plane vibration, which is main source of sound radiation mechanical structures thin plate parts. The evaluated as differential coefficient target response respect design variable, e.g., or mass. For suppressing we pay attention finding an appropriate location on structure add local stiffness. decided according results. compliance frequency function (FRF) considered response, and thickness stiffener variable. validity proposed method examined through numerical simulation finite element (FEM) model plate. modal distributions, sensitivity, FRF changes by thickening are calculated based 4 selected natural modes.
